As we really start breaking into this year's #EMchat calendar, it makes sense to start strong with not only one of our favorite teams to collaborate with, but also a topic that's timely and relevant: Fall Events!
We're excited to welcome the pros at Carnegie Communications back for a chat focused on ways to encourage students to sign up and check out events happening on your campuses. You might be tracking an event as a first source for your students, but don't you really want to know the call to action that brought them to campus and why?
Just a few of the questions we'll be tossing out to get your minds going:
- Where does event marketing fall in your overall strategy? Is it a distinct element?
- What social channels are you using to promote events? Organic or paid?
- Are you leveraging your student lists for event promotion? If so, how?
You can count on the Carnegie team to be prepped and ready to talk about success stories they've seen (and been a part of), best practices, tips and ideas you might just want to try out on your own campuses.
We hope you'll join us Thursday at 9PM ET, but you can always continue--or start--this conversation with Carnegie at #NACAC16 (Booth 803 in the Exhibit Hall). Grab some #EMchat badge flair while you're there!
[We'll be sharing information weekly on our planned topic and guests, so be sure to check back often to stay ahead of the game! See the full #EMchat calendar, here]
